# Summary Person-Action-Object (PAO) is a mnemonic system for memorizing long strings of numbers. PAO breaks up long strings of numbers into 6-digit chunks, which are then converted to a person-action-object phrase and placed in a [[Method of Loci|mind palace]]. This system requires high upfront investment to develop, but is much more effective at memorizing long strings of numbers than, say, the [[Major System]]. # PAO Image Table The PAO system is predicated on the creation of a PAO image table, which maps each 2-digit number to a Person, Action, and Object.
